Meirowitz earned his Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2001. He is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as well as the U.S. District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts.

Meirowitz is a founding partner of Meirowitz & Wasserberg LLP, a personal injury and mass torts law firm. Before co-founding the firm in 2015, he was a senior trial lawyer at a renowned nationwide plaintiff’s firm. Prior to earing his Juris Doctorate, he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from State University of New York at Albany.

Meirowitz also served as a prosecutor in the Bronx District Attorney’s office for the State of New York for four years where he tried dozens of cases to verdict. At the time, he also served as an adjunct professor teaching law classes at City University of New York (Queens) and Interboro Institute.

In 2013, Meirowitz secured the first multimillion-dollar asbestos verdict issued in more than two decades in a New York federal court. In addition to representing mesothelioma and asbestos plaintiffs, he also handles other types of injury claims, including car accidents, defective drugs and medical devices, slip and falls, product liability claims and wrongful death claims.
